Huge LED back-light screen
Ultra smooth touch-pad
Fast boot time
Quality of manufacturing is beyond industry standards
Long battery life
Performance exceeds that of similarly priced units
Few junk programs come pre-installed.
Cons:
The touch-pad should be placed in the center of the laptop, but it seems to be placed a little to the left of center. I think this is a major pro for left handed people?

The price was $299.00 and the laptop is built solidly. It seems plenty quick to me and when I offered to upgrade to 8GB ram from the 3GB it came with, my wife said not to bother (even though it is less than $30.00 for the ram.) We have not noticed any delay in using the mouse cursor as reported in another review here. We are extremely happy with this laptop although it is still very new and hasn't stood the test of time yet.

The Touchpad is good but not the mouse clicker. It takes a while(a couple of seconds) sometimes to get response from the program. When I compare this laptop with a two year old AMD Toshiba, Toshiba wins. Don't expect a fast laptop. This laptop is worth $280 and if you need something for email or just light office work it will do.
Someone else posted that he could upgrade the memory to 8GB for $30, Only a moron would believe that. For memory installation you have to open the whole laptop and it takes at least half an hour. Best buy charges $70 for just installation. This is not including the cost of the memory chips which you can look up and see for yourself.
